Samsung Electronics posts record third-quarter profit but warns of weaker earnings ahead

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd forecast weaker earnings on Wednesday as it posted record operating profit in the third quarter, meeting expectations thanks to sales of semiconductors to data centers and higher production yields.
