Bank of England's Andrew Bailey calls cryptocurrencies 'dangerous'

People should only invest in cryptocurrencies if they are prepared to lose all their money, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey has previously said, because assets such as bitcoin do not fulfil the key functions of a standard means of payment.
