India over the moon about Chandrayaan-3; lunar landing cheers spacetech industry

As the lander of India’s Chandrayaan-3 mission touched down on the lunar surface at around 6:04 pm on Wednesday, India entered the elite club of countries that have successfully landed on the moon. The Indian Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO) second attempt at the landing was successful, making India the first country to land on the satellite’s south pole, and light up the dark side of the moon.
