Contract workers reviewing videos for data annotation reportedly encountered highly sensitive material, including bank information, nudity, sexual encounters, pornography, and even footage of people using the toilet, said a Swedish news investigation. The UK’s data watchdog, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), has written to Meta requesting information to ensure that its practices comply with the country's data protection laws.
