LG Energy Solution (LGES) and Panasonic Energy, two of the largest battery manufacturers globally, are accelerating their plans to set up production facilities in India. LGES supplies EV batteries to Tesla, General Motors, Hyundai, and Indian e-scooter makers like Ola Electric and TVS Motor, while Panasonic Energy is among Tesla’s largest suppliers of batteries.
