The Indian government has committed approximately Rs 62,900 crore, 97% of the Rs 65,000 crore fund, as incentives for semiconductor production. With limited funds remaining, only a few small projects can be accommodated. The Semicon India 2025 event, featuring delegates from 33 countries and top executives, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from September 2-4.
